Done! Camera is tired, lol, but I am very happy with this one. Babies in shadow are a fine balance. Too harsh a shadow gives a "hard" appearance not suitable to a baby's soft edges and spirit. I loved the challenge of dramatic lighting, dynamic composition ( (think the movement and directions of the hair), and the angle of the shadows across the figure, while celebrating this child's innocence. The dichotomy of a gentle subject, strong lighting, and enigmatic gaze inspired this work.
