Today was a great day. The esteemed conductor, Edmond Agopian, came by home to pick up his portrait. On to the framer, then to it's eventual permanent residence in his university of Calgary office. I am genuinely overjoyed that he loved the piece and related its old world, dramatic flavor, as reminiscent of the music and orchestras he conducts. Edmond is a gracious, talented man, not to mention, an excellent artist model. :) His charm and witticism create a beautiful environment to learn and grow, for my son Beau, as a member of the Calgary Youth Orchestra. It was truly an honor to create his piece.
And yes, it's still Christmas at my house. Shush.
