Last pic before the gold leaf. I have the urge to do some facial tweeking first but the gold will have signifigant impact and may affect how I adjust the values. Plus, I'm really excited to see it! The question remains whether or not the glue will muddy up enough pastel to adhere the leaf. The back up plan is to scrape down to the surface and apply it there. Always one to try the simpler option first, but more often than not, the more fussy tactic is what it takes to do the deed. Wish me luck!
